The November Edit
The weather is definitely starting to turn more wintery and my mind is turning towards chunky knits mixed with feminine but edgy bottoms. Here are the 8 things topping my November Edit so far.
I’ve always been a fan of the midi length, plus I absolutely hate tights so if I can avoid wearing them, I am totally on board. I really love the colour of this Zara one and think it would be perfect with an oversized jumper and a pair of ankle boots. I love that it can also be worn in hot weather - I’m picturing a white off the shoulder style.
As I’m sure you know I’m not one for too much print so I love a good balloon sleeve - I think they are so elegant and add drama to an otherwise plain top. I’m not entirely sure which colour I would go for, the blue could look lovely with some blue denim but I do love camel coloured top.
I’ve been looking for a leather midi skirt for a little while now. I initially thought I wanted a pencil skirt and have been kicking myself since I missed out on a perfect Topshop one a few years ago. However, lately I’ve been persuaded by a more A-line shape and this M&S version is ticking all the right boxes.
What’s not to love here? It’s a chunky roll neck and it’s in a crisp natural white that will give it a luxe feeling. The wool blend should make it super warm and cosy - perfect for cold walks to work.
Are we seeing a bit of a pattern here? The midi length is definitely my preferred shape! I’m wary of the paisley print as I’m not entirely sure if it’s very me. When I think of paisley, I think of indie, boho types (aka not me) but this particular Topshop style comes in a tried and tested silhouette and I really like the colours so maybe it’s time to try a new style!
